What you’ll do
- Research and prepare programme ideas, scripts, features and running orders.
- Present engaging live or recorded shows with clear introductions and well-timed links.
- Welcome guests and listener contributions while maintaining respectful discussion.
- Check facts, pronunciation and permissions before broadcasting.
- Work with producers and social volunteers to promote shows and improve listener engagement.
What you’ll bring
- Clear spoken communication and an engaging, inclusive presenting style.
- Research, organisation and the ability to work to a programme schedule.
- A quiet recording space, microphone, computer and reliable internet connection.
Your time and support
We ask for 8 hours per week, including preparation, agreed activities and team check-ins. This is a remote, unpaid volunteer opportunity. We’ll discuss a workable schedule, role-specific onboarding and the support you need. Live roles may include agreed evening or weekend slots; other tasks can be arranged flexibly.
You’ll work with the station founder or designated team lead. Relevant personal projects and transferable experience are welcome. Please contact us to discuss accessibility needs or an alternative application format.
